For example, an image processor may be used for image scaling, e.g. , the resizing ofa digital image such as the magnification of video images, whi ch is referred to as upscaling or resolutionenhancement. Digital images may add itionally be down scaled to decrease the magnification of videoimages. Image pr ocessing may be used for other affects, as well, such as to adjust the pixel val ues forimages that are captured under low light conditions to correct for inacc uracies in brightness, color, andnoise.
