Abstract

According to newsreporting originating in Beijing, Peo ple’s Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Rocksfalling to Earth from space may generate pressure and temperature approaching Earth’s de ep mantle, butsuch meteorite impact only persists for a very short period. Unde r these extreme conditions, kineticalfactors largely control mineral phase tran sitions, in which the resultant phase may deviate from those atthermal equilibr ium.”
