According to news originatingfrom Munich, Germany, by NewsRx cor respondents, research stated, “Approximately one in three survivorsof critical illness suffers from intensive-care-unit-acquired weakness, which increases mort ality and impairsquality of life. By counteracting immobilization, a known risk factor, active mobilization may mitigate itsnegative effects on patients.”
