Abstract

According to news reportingoriginating in Shanghai, People’s Republ ic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The intricatenon-equilibr ium and rapid solidification behavior inherent in laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) additivemanufacturing affects the quality and performance of as-built parts. T o evaluate and predict the quality ofLPBF-built parts, engaging in real-time mo nitoring of the LPBF process by leveraging thermal informationderived from the melt pool becomes significant.”
