Several known path planning techniques are currently used for navigating robots in mappedenvironme nts such as, for example, A*search algorithm, Dijkstra, weighted A*, D* and the like. In orderto make A* search algorithm run faster a constant factor is multi plied to heuristic and the correspondingtechnique is known as weighted A*. The Dijkstra algorithm is low in complexity, and is almost linear.
