Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Duplex windows are formed by overlapping transparent plates t ogether, rather than a single integratedwindow. When a window includes the dupl ex window and a heat insulating layer is formed between theplurality of transpa rent plates, a high heat insulating effect may be achieved. The heat insulating layer isfilled with an inert gas, such as argon, to increase the heat insulatin g effect, and thus, the heat insulatingeffect may be maintained for a long peri od of time without changing compositions of materials.
