Abstract

According to news reporting outof London, United Kingdom, by Ne wsRx editors, research stated, “This paper systematically investigates asoft-ri gid hybrid pneumatic actuator (SRHPA), which consists of a rigid-foldable twisti ng skeleton capableof a large range of helical motion and a soft bellows muscle with high linear driving force. Consideringthe unique varying-pitch helical mo tion of the foldable skeleton, the analytical model mapping the inputforce gene rated by the bellows muscle and output forces of the actuator is revealed and ve rified with asimulation of the force analysis.”
