Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Conventionally, a robot device such as an industrial robot or a mobile robot is configured to repeatedlyexecute actions, which are mainly st ored, in order. For this reason, in work in which a plurality ofworkpieces need to be handled at various timings and in various situations, robot devices have sometimesbeen incapable of autonomously executing actions suitable for the work pieces. Therefore, systems areknown that discriminate a workpiece of a robot de vice by using image data captured by a camera or thelike and that perform contr ol to cause the robot device to execute an action on the basis of the discrimination result.
