According to news reportingfrom Stockholm, Sweden, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “In order to estimate the likelihood of1, 3, 6 a nd 12 month mortality in patients with hip fractures, we applied a variety of ma chine learningmethods using readily available, preoperative data. We used prosp ectively collected data from a singleuniversity hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark for consecutive patients with hip fractures, aged 60 years andolder, treated b etween September 2008 to September 2010 (n = 1186).”
