Abstract

According tonews reporting out of Chongqing, Peop le’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Thekey step of the Global Leadership Initiative on Malnutrition (GLIM) is nutritional risk screeni ng, while themost appropriate screening tool for colorectal cancer (CRC) patien ts is yet unknown. The GLIM diagnosisrelies on weight loss information, and bia s or even failure to recall patients’ historical weight can causemisestimates o f malnutrition.”
