According to news reporting fromJiangxi, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “This study conducts an indepthexplor ation of the efficacy of deep learning and ensemble learning techniques for slop e-unit-basedlandslide susceptibility prediction within the context of the Three Gorges Reservoir area in China, witha specific focus on Wanzhou District. Leve raging a dataset comprising twelve distinct landslide factorsand 1909 Slope Uni ts, the research evaluates three deep learning models (Long Short-Term Memory, Recurrent Neural Network, and Gated Recurrent Unit) as well as three ensemble lea rning models (LightGBM(LGBM), Extra Trees, and Random Forest) using five perfor mance metrics.”
