This patent was filed on April 4, 2022 and was published online on April 9, 2024 .From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents o btained the followingquote: “The average consumer likely has dozens of trigger sprayer containers in their home, but spareslittle thought to the complicated e ngineering that ensures that the trigger sprayer comfortably dispensesfluid wit hout breaking, leaking, or exposing the consumer’s fingers to dangerous moving p arts. Previoustrigger sprayer assemblies that met these criteria contained many small components that were difficult andtime consuming to assemble. In additio n, previous trigger sprayer assemblies were not generally designedfor easy inte rchangeability of parts such as shrouds, trigger handles, and nozzles. A durable and attractivetrigger sprayer assembly with interchangeable features that coul d be at least partially assembled throughautomated and/or robotic methods would therefore be useful.”
