According to newsreporting originating in Uttar Prades h, India, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Powder metallurgyprocessed C u-Sn alloys consolidated via liquid phase sintering (LPS) often contain signific ant amount ofporosity which not only deteriorates their mechanical properties b ut also adversely affects their functionalperformance. During LPS, shrinkage an d swelling are the two competing processes that in turn determinethe extent of porosity and densification behaviour of the sintered alloy.”
