According to n ews reporting originating in Nanning, People’s Republic of China, byNewsRx jour nalists, research stated, “The task of scene text recognition involves processin g information from two modalities: images and text, thereby requiring models to have the ability to extract featuresfrom images and model sequences simultaneou sly. Although linguistic knowledge greatly aids scene textrecognition tasks, th e extensive use of language models in sequence modeling and model prediction stages in recent years has made model architectures increasingly complex and ineffi cient.”
