Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Monitoring devices and sensors are often dispersed at various locations at a property, such as a homeor commercial business. These devices a nd sensors can have distinct functions at different locations ofthe property. S ome sensors at a property offer different types of monitoring and control functi onality.The functionality afforded by these sensors and devices can be leverage d to secure items at a property,to obtain information about respective items at multiple different properties, and to control certain safetydevices that may b e located at the properties. Sensors and devices at a property may include one o rmore cameras, such as an example doorbell camera. These doorbell cameras captu re images and videoin response to detecting motion at property. For example, th e doorbell camera can capture images andvideo of a visitor or owner of the prop erty when the individual is detected at an entrance of the property.”
