According to news reporting fromSt. Petersburg, Russia, by NewsR x journalists, research stated, “The combination of Surface -enhancedRaman Scat tering (SERS) method and machine learning algorithms has been successfully demon stratedfor the detection and differentiation of influenza A virus in buffer med ium. Dendritic Ag nanostructureson single -crystal Si wafer have been proposed as SERS-active substrates, which are fabricated using alow-cost and reproducibl e AgNO3 reduction method.”
