Abstract

According to newsoriginating from Nicosia, Cyprus, by Ne wsRx correspondents, research stated, “Seawater intrusion incoastal aquifers is a significant problem that can be addressed through the construction of subsurf acedams or physical cut-off barriers. An alternative method is the use of micro bially induced carbonateprecipitation (MICP) to reduce the hydraulic conductivi ty of the porous medium and create a physicalbarrier.”
