According to newsreporting out of Naples, Italy, by New sRx editors, research stated, “We analyzed the earthquake densityof the Geysers geothermal field (California) as a function of time and space over a decade. We groupedparts of the volume of the geothermal area sharing similar earthquake r ates over time; in this way, wefound three concentric spatial domains centered on the principal exploitation area and labeled as A, B,and C, moving from the i nner- to the outermost domain and characterized by peculiar time-history of theearthquake rates and different stress conditions.”
