According tonews reporting originating from Padov a, Italy, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “In October2022, the Centr e for Ethics of Yenepoya University hosted a national workshop entitled: ‘Respec t forhuman dignity of the unidentified dead from mass disasters and other viole nce: strategies for the ethicalmanagement of biological samples and personal da ta’. The aim was to explore and share experience andethical considerations rega rding the management and identification of human remains in the event ofdisaste rs, with the purpose to arrive at a general consensus about what constitutes the ethical foundationof the management of unidentified human remains in forensic practice and, in particular, contextualizingthis in India.”
