Abstract

According to news reporting fromShanghai, People’s Republic of China, b y NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Automatic facial expressionrecognition (FER) based on face images is essential for affective robots, which are designed for interactivecompanions and intelligent healthcare. Although existing DL-bas ed FERs have made significant progress,an accurate FER model in robots is chall enging due to the subtle differences in facial expressions acrossvarious scenar ios.”
