For example, a s martphone or tablet includes a front facingcamera to capture selfie images and a rear facing camera to capture an image of a scene (such as a landscape or othe r scenes of interest to a device user). A camera can capture images using an ima gesensor of the camera. The representation of a scene in an image captured by a camera depends on the fieldof view and/or viewport of the camera (e.g., the po rtion of the scene that the camera is able to observeusing the image sensor), f or instance based on the position and orientation of the camera in relation tot he scene. In some examples, a specific part of a scene may be difficult to see c learly if the viewport ofthe camera does not provide a clear view of the specif ic part of the scene, for instance because the fieldof view is oriented at a sh arp angle relative to the specific part of the scene. Various system can make use of image data from cameras, such as virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) systems.”
