According to news reporting outof Hangzhou, People’s Republic of Chin a, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Information-based autonomousrobot explo ration methods, aiming to maximize the exploration rewards, e.g., mutual information (MI), get more prevalent in field robotics applications. However, most MI-b ased exploration methodsassume known poses or use inaccurate pose uncertainty a pproximation, which may lead to deviation oreven failure when exploring prior u nknown environments.”
