By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News – Investigators discuss new findings in Robotics. According to news originating fromShanghai, People’s Republic of Chin a, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Incremental flanging(IF) has eme rged as a flexible and low-cost alternative to conventional stamping processes s uitable forrapidly producing multi-variety and small-batch flanged parts. Howev er, due to the material hardening aswell as large and unevenly distributed spri ngback, it is still challenging to manufacture and control theforming quality o f large-size open-edge flanged parts with a length of more than 1.0 m, a width o f morethan 100 mm and a flange height of more than 30 mm.”
