According to newsreporting out of Fujian, People’ s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Surface-enhancedRaman scattering (SERS) technology have unique advantages of rapid, simple, and highl y sensitive in thedetection of serum, it can be used for the detection of liver cancer. However, some protein biomarkers inbody fluids are often present at ul tra-low concentrations and severely interfered with by the high-abundanceprotei ns (HAPs), which will affect the detection of specificity and accuracy in cancer screening based onthe SERS immunoassay.”
