Abstract

According to news reporting out of Hefei, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors,research stated, “Pulm onary inflammatory pseudotumor (PIP) is an inflammatory proliferative tumorlikelesion that frequently exhibits hypermetabolism on 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emissiontomography/computed tomography imaging (PET/CT) and is readil y misdiagnosed as a malignant tumor.The purpose of this study was to identify P IP by combining PET/computed tomography metabolic andblood test characteristics with machine learning.”
