By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News - New research on Biotechnology - Bioinf ormatics is the subject of a report. Accordingto news originating from Nanjing, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated,“Rheumat oid arthritis (RA) is a persistent autoimmune condition characterized by synovit is and jointdamage. Recent findings suggest a potential link to abnormal lactat e metabolism.”Our news journalists obtained a quote from the research from Nanjing University, “This study aimsto identify lactate metabolism-related genes (LMRGs) in RA and investigate their correlation with themolecular mechanisms of RA immunity. Dat a on the gene expression profiles of RA synovial tissue sampleswere acquired fr om the gene expression omnibus (GEO) database. The RA database was acquired by obtaining the common LMRDEGs, and selecting the gene collection through an SVM mo del. Conductingthe functional enrichment analysis, followed by immuno-infiltrat ion analysis and protein-protein interactionnetworks. The results revealed that as possible markers associated with lactate metabolism in RA, KCNN4and SLC25A4 may be involved in regulating macrophage function in the immune response to RA, whereasGATA2 is involved in the immune mechanism of DC cells.”
