From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents o btained the followingquote: “Compartmentalization in moving goods vehicle desig n is a critical enabler for allowing a vehicleto onboard and deliver multiple o rders in a single optimized route. Some conventional cargo bin loadingsystems m ay provide automated bin loading. However, known cargo bin loading systems may n otdetermine, without the assistance of a human loader, whether a cargo bin is u tilized properly with respect to cargo placement, cargo bin utilization (e.g., c omplete loading of the cargo bin to capacity), and workingwith unknown package sizes. More particularly, state of the art cargo bin loading systems may work only with theoretical loading calculations based on known package sizes, and may n ot have machine visionguidance that determines actual in-storage conditions wit h respect to loader efficiency and full utilizationof bin capacity given random package sizes being loaded into the cargo bins.
