According to news reporting out of Houston, Texas, by NewsRx edi tors, research stated, “Wearable haptic devices transmit information via touch r eceptors in the skin, yet devices located on parts of the body with high densiti es of receptors, such as fingertips and hands, impede interactions. Other locati ons that are well-suited for wearables, such as the wrists and arms, suffer from lower perceptual sensitivity.”
