By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News - Investigators publish new report on Ro botics - Robotics and Automation. According to news reporting out of Syracuse, N ew York, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Symmetry manifests itself in legge d locomotion in a variety of ways: A legged system can maintain consistent gaits from any spatial starting point, exhibiting the same leg movements on either si de of the torso in phase, and some even demonstrate forward and backward movemen ts so similar they seem to reverse time. This work aims to generalize these phen omena and proposes formal definitions of symmetries in legged locomotion using t erminology from group theory.”
