The patent’s assignee for patent number 11967003 is Kyocera Document Solutions ( Osaka, Japan). News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors: “Conventionally, a color wheel, such as an RYB (red-yellow- blue) color wheel for example, may be used to select colors from a computer disp lay thereof. Other examples may be theme colors or standard colors obtained from a color wheel type selection menu or pull-down menu. Furthermore, in some imple mentations, custom RYB values may be input to generate a color. However, convent ionally, these colors do not necessarily match a user context in creating a draw ing, painting, or other computer-assisted generated image.”
