The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied by the inventors: “A cleaning robot carries out positioning and ma pping by means of cameras or laser beams, so that it can not only obtain coordin ates of current positions when a cleaning area to be cleaned, so as to form an o riginal cleaning record map, but also obtain a scanning record map in the form o f coordinate bitmaps, etc. In theory, after an application (APP) for controlling the cleaning robot is started, the scanning record map can be downloaded from t he cloud. The APP draws a movement track of the cleaning robot according to the scanning record map such that movement situations and cleaning record situations of the cleaning robots can be displayed on the APPs in real time. Since only th e movement track of the cleaning robot is displayed on the APP, the control whic h is carried out to the cleaning robot through the APP is very limited under the existing technical conditions, some functions based on a robot map of the clean ing robot cannot be performed normally, and terminals cannot accurately control the robot to work in a limited area to be cleaned in the prior art.”
