Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “In apparatuses, such as tools for forming processing of workp ieces, clinching or stamping riveting tongs or joining tongs for setting connect ing or functional elements, such as bolts or nuts, different machine concepts ar e configured for industrial applications. The machine concepts also advantageous ly relate to supplying and moving the workpieces and/or components onward. Such apparatuses for acting on workpiece portions or for clinching are also generally referred to as joining tongs below. “Preferably, press-in elements may be understood to be functional elements and i n the set state on the workpiece have an additional function in an outward direc tion, for example, a connecting or fixing portion, such as, for example, an exte rnal thread for connecting the connecting or fixing portion to another portion.
