Abstract

According to news reporting from Aizawl, India, by News Rx journalists, research stated, “To evaluate the response of a reinforce concre te (RC) building subjected to nonlinear dynamic loading, it is recommended to us e effective stiffness of the members. Currently, design codes and practices prov ide an empirical fraction of un-cracked stiffness to consider the effect of redu ced stiffness in cracked sections.”
