The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied by the inventors: “Field “The present disclosure relates to an improved manner for training a machine lea rning model. “Description of Related Art “During image analysis, is it known to estimate an amount of noise in an image t o detect the quality thereof. One manner in which noise estimation is performed is using a trained machine learning model. A drawback associated with this is th at much training data is necessary for training the model and is generally acqui red by capturing many photos with for the model. Even if one were to capture the significant number of photos that would be needed to properly train a model to estimate noise, the trained model would be less accurate because the captured im ages generally only enable estimate of noise based on ISO and/or camera noise re duction settings. A system and method according to the present disclosure remedi es the drawbacks discussed above by providing an improved training mechanism”
