According to news originating from Beijing, People's Repu blic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, "This paper aims to fi nd the best method to predict the friction coefficient of textured 45# steel by comparing different machine learning algorithms and analytical calculat ions. Design/methodology/approach - Five machine learning algorithms, including K-nearest neighbor, random forest, support vector machine (SVM), gradient boosti ng decision tree (GBDT) and artificial neural network (ANN), are applied to pred ict friction coefficient of textured 45# steel surface under oil l ubrication."
