According to news reporting originating in Beijing, Peopl e's Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, "Chiral materials possess broken inversion and mirror symmetry and show great potential in the ap plication of next-generation optic, electronic, and spintronic devices. Two-dime nsional (2D) chiral crystals have planar chirality, which is nonsuperimposable o n their 2D enantiomers by any rotation about the axis perpendicular to the subst rate."
