The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied by the inventors: "Image analysis or imagery analysis is the extra ction of meaningful information from images, such as from digital images by mean s of image processing techniques. For example, object detection is a technology related to computer vision and image processing that is associated with detectin g instances of semantic objects of a certain class (such as humans, buildings, o r cars) in digital images and/or videos.
