By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News-From Alexandria, Virginia, NewsRx jour nalists report that a patent by the inventor Ghestem, Florian (Bondues, FR), fil ed on November 23, 2021, was published online on May 7, 2024. The patent's assignee for patent number 11975875 is Velec Systemes (Bondues, Fra nce). News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors: "In the food industry, for example in biscuit-making factor ies, the cartoners operate at high rates, typically in the range of 200 strokes per minute, and it is therefore necessary to feed the conveyor of the cartoner w ith 200 cases each minute. "Nowadays, this loading mobilises an operator dedicated to this operation. Every minute, the operator must retrieve on a pallet a cardboard box containing the c ases stored laid flat, then lifts it from the pallet to set it on a setting tabl e. The operator proceeds with opening of the cardboard box by its upper opening, by removing the adhesive and by releasing, one-by-one, the four closure flaps c ontiguous to the four lateral walls of the cardboard box. The operator lifts thi s cardboard box again, before turning it over in order to pour all cases on the conveyor of the cartoner.
