According to news reporting out of Beijing, People’s Re public of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Rapid and precise quantifi cation of economic losses post -earthquake is critical for crafting informed dis aster management strategies by governmental and insurance entities. This study i ntroduces an ensemble model, constituted by Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Ex treme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), tailored for quick and interpretative predict ion of GDP -related seismic loss assessments, with Sichuan Province serving as t he empirical backdrop.” Funders for this research include National Key R&D Program of China , Ministry of Education, China - 111 Project.
