By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Fresh data on Machine Learning are pre sented in a new report. According to news reporting from Beijing, People’s Repub lic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “As a natural disaster, ex treme precipitation is among the most destructive and influential, but predictin g its occurrence and evolution accurately is very challenging because of its rar ity and uniqueness. Taking the example of the ‘21 center dot 7’ extreme precipit ation event (17-21 July 2021) in Henan Province, this study explores the potenti al of using physics-guided machine learning to improve the accuracy of forecasti ng the intensity and location of extreme precipitation.” Funders for this research include National Key RD Project, National Natural Scie nce Foundation of China (NSFC), CMA Innovation Foundation, Open Grants of the St ate Key Laboratory of Severe Weather, Key Foundation of Zhejiang Provincial Depa rtment of Science and Technology.
