By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Investigators discuss new findings in Robotics. According to news originating from Xi’an, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “In this article, a novel stochastic optimal control method is developed for robot manipulator interacting with a tim e-varying uncertain environment. The unknown environment model is described as a nonlinear system with timevarying parameters as well as stochastic information , which is learned via the Gaussian process regression (GPR) method as the exter nal dynamics.” Financial support for this research came from National Natural Science Foundatio n of China (NSFC).
