By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – A new study on Robotics is now availab le. According to news reporting from Madrid, Spain, by NewsRx journalists, resea rch stated, “This work presents the analysis of the sampling and communication f requencies in a multi -robot system (MRS) and its effect over the temporal perfo rmance and computational load. The experimental system is composed of mobile rob ots (the Khepera IV), and a type of aerial robots, the Crazyflie 2.1.” Financial support for this research came from Agencia Estatal de Investigacion. The news correspondents obtained a quote from the research from the National Uni versity of Distance Education (UNED), “The analysis is performed for the formati on control of the MRS from initial conditions to a desired formation, which is d efined in terms of relative distances between agents. Three scenarios regarding the control architecture are evaluated: centralized, distributed in ROS 2, and d istributed onboard the robot. The minimum operating frequency for periodic sampl ing is determined, and an event -based sampling protocol is presented to reduce the number of transmitted messages.”
