According to news reporting out of Changchun, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, resea rch stated, “At present, the core decompression (CD) has become the main surgica l procedure for the treatment of osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH); howev er, the CD surgery requires high operator experience and repeated fluoroscopy in creases the radiation damage to patients, and medical staff. This article compar es the clinical efficacy of robot-assisted and freehand CD for ONFH by meta-anal ysis.”
