Abstract

The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied by the inventors: “Some physiological monitoring devices acquire u ser data over an interval, such as several days, and then generate a daily summa ry of metrics for, e.g., sleep, strain, and recovery. These calculations are fre quently data heavy and computationally expensive, requiring, as they do, a revie w of accumulated data over the course of a prior period such as twenty four hour s. “There remains a need for continuous or real time objective measurements of curr ent stress that provides an actionable benchmark for user decisions and self-ass essment.”
