Abstract

According to news reporting from Chandigarh, India, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The proliferation of the Internet and instant mes saging has elevated the use of voice communication, posing challenges in legal a nd forensic contexts. This study delves into the impact of four social media pla tforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, and Telegram) on the acoustic properties of vowel sounds.” Financial support for this research came from Institute of Forensic Science and Criminology, Panjab University, Chandigarh and University Grant Commission, Nati onal Fellowship for Schedule Casts (NFSC) , New Delhi.
