According to news reporting originating from Hunan, Peo ple’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Nickel-iron slag, a byproduct of industrial processes in China with an annual production ex ceeding 400,000 tons, is considered an industrial waste material. This study foc uses on the rational utilization of nickel-iron slag by investigating its mechan ical properties and road performance as a roadbed fill material.” Financial supporters for this research include National Natural Science Foundati on of China (NSFC), Open Fund of Key Laboratory of Special Environ-ment Road Eng ineering of Hunan Province (Changsha University of Science Technology).
