Abstract

According to news reporting from Madrid, Spain, by NewsR x journalists, research stated, “Pharmaceutical compounds have become an increas ingly important source of pollutants in wastewaters being conventional treatment s ineffective in removing them, so they are commonly discharged into the environ ment. Pharmaceuticals can be successfully removed using liquid -liquid extractio n, and COSMO-RS can be used to predict interactions and identify the most promis ing solvents.”
