Abstract
Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “With regards to anomalies and problems in functioning of devi ces, a traditional pager type support tends to “page” on the anomalies and probl ems reported by the devices, and escalate if no user and/or technician responds within a predetermined amount of time. In particular, a list of users in the pag er’s calendar who are authorized to address the anomalies and problems, is defin ed. The traditional pager type support may not be practical in an IOT monitoring environment because of the fact that an IOT network is a giant network of conne cted devices and people, all of which collect and share data about the way the c onnected devices are used and about the environment around the connected devices . Further, conventional methods of addressing anomalies and problems reported by IOT devices require a dashboard per IOT network, and assigning a technician per IOT network.
