The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied by the inventors: “The development of coating machines that use in kjet technology to coat the vehicle body of an automobile (hereinafter simply re ferred to as vehicle body) is progressing. A coating machine using inkjet techno logy includes a coating head that ejects a predetermined amount of droplets of c oating material from each of a plurality of nozzles provided on the nozzle formi ng surface (ejection surface) towards the vehicle body, for example, by driving a piezo element or other piezoelectric device, a supply passage for supplying co ating material to the coating head, etc.
