Abstract

The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied by the inventors: “From WO 2017/029263 A1 a robotic system having at least one robot arm is known, consisting of a plurality of links which are co nnected to one another via joints and which have a casing for receiving mechanic al, mechatronic and/or electronic components, wherein the casing is formed to tr ansmit the torques and forces introduced into the link to an adjoining member, w herein the casing is composed of at least two casing parts of complementary shap e which are connected to each other in a torque- and force-transmitting connecti on. Cast parts made of metal, such as aluminum, plastics or carbon, can be provi ded as the material for the shell-like casing parts.”
